The Imaging Center at LewisGale Hospital at Montgomery to Offer New Coronary Artery Disease Detection Screening: Cardiac CT Angiography

The Imaging Center at Montgomery Regional Hospital is introducing a new health screening that can detect early stages of coronary artery disease when it's most treatable. The new Heart–Imaging, 64–Slice CT Angiography provides amazingly clear three–dimensional images of the heart, allowing cardiologists to determine whether damaging fatty deposits have accumulated in the coronary arteries, increasing the risk of a heart attack or stroke. The first screening, open to individuals who meet required criteria will be held on Saturday, February 23.
